MEMBERSHIPS
Tasmania Golf Club offers a range of membership options including:
- Full Membership - 7 day playing rights, guest introduction rights and competition entry
- 5 Day Membership - playing rights every day except Wednesday and Saturday, guest introductions only possible on those days, ineligible to participate in Club Championships
- Senior Membership - 7 day playing rights for individuals aged over 65 years and retired, full guest introduction rights and competition entry
- Junior Memberships - 7 days playing rights, limited guest introduction rights, limited competition entry and reduced annual subscriptions (dependant on age)
- Social Memberships - no playing rights, guest introduction rights to bar and dining facilities only
- SME Corporate Memberships – designed for small – medium enterprises and providing full playing rights, pre-paid guest privileges and corporate signage
Perhaps the best way to describe any sporting club is by reference to its members. Tasmania Golf Club’s members are friendly, welcoming and passionate about their golf and about their Club.
COMPETITION DAYS
Saturday Will be a Full Members Competition Day in accordance with the annual fixture list. Visitors will only be permitted after the competition is complete. Member's guests are permitted in limited circumstances.
Sunday Will be for all Members and will be played in accordance with the Fixture List. Novelty competitions are held once per month on the Sunday after the monthly medal. Novelty competitions are open to visitors provided that they have a recognised handicap..
Tuesday Will be for all Members but there is a Women’s competition in the morning.
Wednesday Will be for Full Members Competition as per the fixture book. One Wednesday per month is allocated as an invitation day where visitors with a recognised handicap are welcome.
Thursday Will be for all Members but there is a Women’s competition in the morning. The “Beat the Pro” competition starts at noon and Schools Golf starts at 4pm during summer months.
Friday will be for all Members with visitors charged a combined Green/Competition Fee as may be set from time to time. The Corporate Challenge series is conducted from 4pm during the summer months.
Social Golf: All Members (subject to category restrictions) are advised that Social Golf may be played after completion of the Club Competitions on weekends. On weekdays, Social Golf is permitted at any time as long as it does not interfere with any Club fixture.
Please note: Some time restrictions may affect players on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please check with the office if you are unsure about this situation.
